I am not saying I am 100% but from what research I have done there were about 25 made give or take. On the flipped side does anybody know where I can find a GVI LP? IF so let me know. I know of one GVI that was a gas supposidly from the factory but is was butchered and had an 800 power unit put in it for pulling but so on and so forth. Again any help is greatly appreciated thanks GUYS! I Redman

I have a G705 LP that MAY be available, depending on the day of the week. Email if interested.

I have never seen nor heard of a factory gas gvi. The one Jaco had he sold, it was a conversion from lp gas to gas. I would think it would use quite a bit of gas if you were working one.

They did make a few using the same engine (425B)
as the LPG tractors. No gas models were built for
Massey-Ferguson 95 Super (G VI clone), just LPG
and diesel.

Mr. Harold Rhodes will know if G6 gas was ever made, if you can look back through posts and get his email address, ask him.

I hate to weigh in on this and disappoint Kieth. I've never seen a GVI on gas. Whoever compiled MM Serial # lists sometimes used the word Gas to include LP gas and sometimes not.. I recently got rid of my parts books so can't refer to them. Maybe someone else can do this. In meantime I'm going to vote with the ones who say they didn't make any.

Harrold,

I don't know much about these G-VI's but I've got 2 parts books for them and neither contains anything about a gasoline engine, just the LP and the Diesel. I've got to side with you. (I know better than not to).

Jim

No gas GVI was tested at the Nebraska test lab and no information is given in the I&T manual. I would have to agree with the others that MM did not build a gas unit.
