UTS power assist steering

Does anyone know any manufacturer that makes a kit to assist steering on a UTS? I have fought the steering on minefor three years and am ready for a better way. I know I could build it but a prefabricated kit may be easier and beter looking than some of my jury rigging. I am not a fan of appearance but strength and longivity.

This kit would not work would it? The H & M Farmalls steer from a worm gear in the front of the radiator rather than a rod coming from the rear of the tractor like MM.

The steering unit would have to be placed in the shaft coming from the steering wheel to the steering box on yours which is where I've seen them mounted, under the fuel tank & above the box.

Keith,
Char-Linn makes a unit that goes in the steering shaft for power assist steering. I don't think they offer the kit anymore. I have had one on one of my UB's for years. I think the units are available from Great Plains (who must have bought out Nortern Hydraulics). All you need is that unit, a power steering pump, a pulley to drive it from the fan shaft, some brackets & couplers for the shaft. Not cheap though.
