Once again can someone shed some light on the U moline 800 head conversion. I was told to run 800 heads and jugs on U moline crankcase with G rods and crankshaft. This would require a spacer from G rods to 800 pistons. This should make somewhere over 500 cubic inch, I was told. Thanks for your info.

If you are looking to build a big motor. I had some new cyl. blocks casted. Both U and G styles, you can make them 5.75 if you want, with " PRESS IN SLEEVES ". Give me an e-mail if interested. Glenn

From what I've gathered talking to people about the 800 blocks on the four cylinder crank case it's easier to bore the origanal blocks out and re-sleve them to 5.5". You can bore the 800 blocks to 5.5 but 5.4 is really as far as you want to go, the bores aren't very thick. The 800 blocks are bolted on different, and are longer. Rods are just another problem. The biggest problem is most rules don't allow 800 blocks and that is an easy rule to add to get rid of a tough MM. Stock 800 blocks and stock g crank 5.319" X 6" is 533CID incase you wanted to know.

I guess I'm missing something- why shouldn't Jason ask questions about Molines on the Moline board? I could understand your comment if he was asking it on the Oliver board (although I own both, and have never bragged about the Waukesha in comparison to Moline engines)
