Oil compatibility

I have some diesel-rated engine oil (unused)
which doesn't meet the specification for my 1998
GMC diesel truck. Can this oil be safely used in
my Minnie UT? Thanks for any help.

It should state whether or not it meets the specs for gas engines on it. Don't remember al the abbr. So ask your fuel dealer or local farm fuel supplier for the requirements or look on another oil product to get the requirements for gas. The deisel oil should be a higher detergent oil I run Rotella in my gas tractors when I was farming with both gas and deisel. Nevr had any problems with hard use.
