I am looking at buying a 1967 super m670, however I don't know much about Minneapolis Moline tractors, can anyone tell me if the m670 was a dependable tractor or if it had any major problems. Also does anyone know what the horsepower of this tractor is? Thank you for your time, Dustin

Horse power is easy ,70hp. They were a very good tractor. My dad sold them new and we still deal with them some and the M670's were very dependable. The main things to check is if the low range torque works. You are to let it warm up to operating temp before doing hard pulling in low range. If not it would wear the sprague clutch out early. If it is diesel check the engine oil and radiator. If they were worked hard and not alowed to cool down for a few min. it could crack the heads. So basicly if it was taken care of like any tractor should be no mater what the brand you should have a good tractor. If it was not matained you would have to figure the repair cost into the price of the tractor.

The 670 was in my opinion the most dependable MM after the letter series.
