I plan to paint a UB & M602 and need some pointers on the paint codes, type of paint to use, prep work, decals, etc.

Hello, As for the paint we always use the OEM paint from Agco when ever posible. It is a good quality paint and you can get a spray can for touch up and it will match. For the UB get the Prarrie Gold and for the M602 get the American Yellow. For the red IH 2150 is close or on Minneapolis-Moline.Com they have a paint chart. The M602 chasis color will have to be mixed and get a good quality paint like Martin Senour, PPG,Dupont ect. My thoughts are if it is good enough to paint a Fearri or Corvette then it is good enough for the tractor. A good quality paint will hold up and wont fade like the cheep chains store paints do.Think about it if the OEM is painting a $100,000.00 plus combine or tractor they dont want to have to pay to get it repainted.Also put some hardner in it to hold up longer yet.
