A friend asked me to try to find a paint code for a Miniapolis Moline G1000. I guess it's a shade of "yellow".

Would that be the one called "Prarrie Gold"?

If you need more info, please let me know and I'll try to get it grom the tractor owner.

Thanks,

Mike

The prairre Gold was used on the letered series and the 335,445, and 5Star. On the later tractors from the 1960's we always use and stock the Yellow American Series from Agco (The parent co for M-M). The part number for the quart is 79014809. The nice part is you can paint the tractor now and in a month you need some touch up paint in a spray can it will match. The custom blended paints in small quanitys dont match always when put in a arisol spray can. What ever paint you use get a good quality brand. Several years ago we painted a A-C tractor with some cheep paint (from the local chain store) of the A-C color and it started fadeing and had to be polished in just over a month.

The G1000 was not painted Prairie Gold. The paint
name is Energy Yellow, used on the tin work and
wheels. The chassis color is Dyna Brown. If it's
a Vista or late production G1000 Wheatland then
it should be all Energy Yellow.
