Tractor Kid,

I don't think that is that bad of a price for an RTS, if it is in the condition you describe. RTU's were common here, but RTS's unheard of. You may be in an area that is just the opposite. An R can pull 2-12's or 2-14's, depending on the condition. Dad always used an old John Deere 2-14 on his. Hope this helps.

Jim

RTS were one of the rarest models of the MM R made. I've seen pictures of them pulling 1 16" plow (they might can handle more).
Well, it is your money, and I know it depends on what part of the US you live in, but here in NC I found a '40 RTS not running for $600. 4 years and about $2,000 later, I have a pretty solid tractor, except for a carbruretor problem that hasn't been solved.

Kelvin,

What's your carb problem? They aren't that complicated, let us know and we'll see if we can get it solved.

Jim
