We have a 2 MM 445's and both are the '57 model year.

the one '57 has narrow front with 20.8/30 tires and wheels off of a gleaner. It was also just rebuilt and bored .120 over with new pistons and rings.

It's a great tractor so buy it!!!!!

The 445 Universal gas tractor weighs 4170 and the
diesel model weighs 4770. Uses the MM 206 motor
which produces around 40hp on the drawbar. Your
serial number makes it a 1956 model. Nice tractors
so grab it.

My books show the tractor (a 445 Universal) was made from 1956 through 1959. Serial numbers go from 10100001 through 10104847, with no gaps between years, indicating that 4847 were built. Comparing with the other 445 models, this appears to be the most plentiful of the 445 models. 1956 was the biggest year for this model, with 2854 made. The lack of hydraulics and especially PTO would detract from the value. They are considered to be a good quality tractor, and many are still in use by weekend farmer/collectors.

Most 445s I have seen aren't very cheap. You can put a narrow front end on it but the only problem you might run into is finding it. My dad has a 445 industrial with a beasty loader and its a helluva tractor!!!

I know that they use the same engine as the 445. My book says that they should fit. you will have a good looking tractor.
