What MM tractor is it?

I am attempting to identify a MM tractor owned by my father. It was purchased about 1947-49. It had a regular front axle, belt pulley, crank start, swivel seat with standing platform. It would have been 25 to 30 hp. The fenders enclosed top and inside of rear wheels. The front grill was not red and pointed but had horizontal slats. The steering column was not steeply racked as some later models. Has anyone any idea what model this may be as I hope to purchase one as a momento. Can anyone tell me what the letters mean in the model type or is the lettering done at random? ie. Does the 2nd and 3rd letter mean something of the tractor type.

Sounds like a ZA to me, about 34-35 H.P. The Z is the model name, the A means it was updated from the ZT tractors and the third letter denotes the front end type, i.e. U - Universal (two wheels, narrow front), S - Standard, N - single front wheel, and E - Extendible - adjustable wide front. Scrool down to May 6th to a question about Model numbers, new to M-M. John McLucas provided an answer that is the best primer to M-M model numbers that can be found, I wish I had that condensed information when I started out with this hobby a dozen years ago. If you or anyone else are new to M-M and have a printer, it is a must to print out his response. If you are further into the spirit of M-M, Brian Rukes book is a must, too.
