Could any help me with finding out what the front
weight bracket on a UTS looks like? Or better yet
where I could find one? The weight one piece curved back slightly one large hole in middle
two bolt holes out to each side.

I've never seen front weights on a U. If you find 1 please post picture on site if you can

I have 2 of these weights. As I understand these
were for the UTS only [the standard model].I don't
the equipment to send a picture email but would
take one and mail it to you if you were interested

I appreciate the offer but thats to much hassle for you for my curiosities sake. You say the standard model was the only ones that used these weights I wonder if the Industrial also might have used them

I am like you galen I have never seen a weight bracket on one. I have a dozen U's, including ub's and an Industrial and none have them on there. I have seen some nifty welding of some angle iron where they have made front hitches for the utu's but that is about it. I would think that if they were an option that somebody would have them on a restored tractor. Just my thoughts.

These weights definitely came off a UTS. A friend
got them off one in a parts yard several hundred miles
from where I live. They look like MM weights no
part number on then which seems to be something
MM did,but you never know.

When the UTS were made, MM was only making wheel weights. They weren't making hanging weights at that time.

This is not a hanging weight. It bolts on flat
side to tractor
