I would like to know if anyone has any manuals or specs for a UTI. Its the industrial version of the U, built in the mid 50s I believe. The brakes are 24" drums inside the rear wheels, the front axle is Ultra heavy duty welded I beam with roller bearings on all pivot points, even the Kingpins. The front wheels are solid cast iron and use 20" tires. It had a horn button on the steering wheel, and a red tail light mounted under the seat. It has a foot clutch on the left side, and the clutch is an automotive type (just lots larger). Haven't been able to find parts specific to this tractor.

Jon,

You gave a good description of a UTI, if it has drum brakes it would be a 1951 or earlier model year. Roger is right, give us the serial number and we can tell you what year it is. Probably the only way you will find parts specific to the industial is to locate a parts tractor or someone parting one out. As far as specs, the engine would be the same as any old U of that vintage. Do you know where the horn was mounted? Mine had one too, but it is long gone, as is any UTI, UTIL horn that I haven't seen. I've got the parts book for the 6 Volt industials from No. 334001 and up if you need any info.

Jon, I've got a parts book here for the UTI (ser# 07200001 & up) & UTIL ( ser # 07100001 & up) check the model & ser. number. It sounds like yours is newer than mine, yours probably has the split block & heads type of engine. Let me know how I can help..... ..Roger
