how hard is it to change the rocker arm oiler tubes on a ee engine? Is there any place to get some new ones? thanks for any help!

Steve, Why do you want to change them? I've replaced the felt before by sliding them down an inch or two, removing the nails, wrapping a new piece of felt around the tube, reinserting the nail through the tube and felt, then I seat the tube to its original position and reinstall the bolt and locking plate. I suppose you could remake your own tubes out of possibly copper tubing but I'm not certain this is the proper method. Usually having the cylinders hot tanked cleans out the lines quite well if that's what you're concerned about.

Maybe I don't need to change them. I just got it running the other day and noticed that on the front cylinders one was flowing way to much(the nail is gone). And on the back cylinders 3 of them are not driping and it looks like the nail is coroded in those holes. I had them jet washed when Ihad them honed and a valve job done on them.But at that time I didn't know what those where for kinda new at this!!!! thanks for the advice Steve

Steve, I think all you need to do is grip the nails with a pair of pliers or a vise grip and turn them in their holes to loosen them up. You should get a flow of oil then. To replace the whole tube you'd have to pull the blocks off the tractor again as they are flared in their holes from the bottom. I'm sure you don't want to do that. You can bend the tube down enough to put another nail in the vacant hole.
