I have just removed the cylinder block from my ZTS and i'm having trouble removing the pistons. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Soak the piston with your favorite lube - WD 40, Deisel fuel, Kroil Oil, Marvel Mystery Oil ??? Make a plate to go over the cyld. This takes a little extra skill on the Z Moline, but it can be done. Drill a hole in the plate and tap threads in it so you can put a grease zerk in. Bolt this to the cyld. and strart pumping in the grease. A grease gun will pump 4,000 psi. Take that times the Dia. of the piston and you can put some real preasure on a piston. I realize this uses a lot of grease. If you have several to do, you can save it and reuse it on the next piston. If you don't want to save the piston, get a long drill bit. Drill several holes in the piston from the bottom. You can then break the piston with a punch. This takes about as much time as the grease method.

If they are rusted in, Use a hard block of wood and a sledge hammer. The bigger the hammer the easyer they come out and the least damage to parts. You will likely ruin the rings, but nothing else.
