NAPA auto parts stores can get gasket sets - a complete set about $60.00. They can also get rings to re-ring your current pistons if they are good from Hastings for about $60.00. Valves and guides can also be had - but that'll cost you about $160.00 for parts and labor if you have their machine shop do it (depending on the local labor rate)

Most of the oil seals -front and rear - they can get or will have. They will just need the National part number on the seal. If not Welters Farm supply has them. Rod and main bearings you have to get from a MM parts place - like Welters or Lester W. or one of the other guys (Balcom's or Everrett's). Expect to pay about $18.00 a rod. Front roller bearing is about $75.00 and the rear and center shell bearings $25.00 & $35.00.

It'll cost you anywhere from $350.00 to $600.00 to rebuild the engine proper - depending on what you want to do and or NEED to do to make it dependable and run proper.

If you need any of the above part numbers for any of this stuff - I can dig them up from my list of parts that I have bought. I have rebuilt a couple of Z engines and an R engine. They are both similiar in design and style. Both of these I have done within the last 5 months.
