I agree that the M-M RT, but also suggest that the M-M BF Avery tractors would likely be the tractors comparable to the Case VAC. Tractor data from books of Brian Rukes, Lorry Dunning, and C. H. Wendel. According to Nebraska Tests #430 and #431, the Case VAC was powered by a 4 cylinder, 124 cubic inch engine, weighed 3,024 lbs. The drawbar horsepower ranged from 15.6 to 19.1 and pull weight ranged from 1,493-1,828 lbs. SAE drawbar 12.40 and 14.93 hp and SAE belt/pto 15.89 and 18.96 hp. The early Minneapolis-Moline RTU tested under #341 was powered by the M-M 4 cylinder 165 cubic inch engine rated at 1,400 rpm. The tractor weighed 3,960 lbs., had a drawbar horsepower of 20.01 and pull weight of 1,938 lbs. SAE drawbar 15.58 hp and SAE belt/pto 20.49 ph. The later RTU tested under #468 weighed 3,050 lbs., had a drawbar horsepower of 23.9 and pull weight of 2,048 lbs. The 4 cylinder 165 cubic inch engine shows a 1,500 rpm rating. SAE drawbar 18 hp and belt/pto 23.71 hp. The M-M BF Avery tested under #469 was powered with a Hercules 4 cylinder 133 cubic inch engine, weighed 2,735 lbs., had a drawbar horsepower of 24.1 and pull weight of 1,807 lbs. SAE drawbar 18.83 hp and SAE belt/pto 23.49 hp. The M-M ZAU tested under #438 was powered by the M-M 4 cylinder 206 cubic inch engine. The tractor weighed 3,750 lbs., and had a drawbar horsepower of 32.1 and pull weight of 2,780. SAE drawbar 25.02 hp and belt/pto 31.86 hp. Looks like for one to find the M-M tractor comparable to the Case VAC, one should look at the smaller M-M RT or BF Avery. Hope this helps.
