I just purchased my first "old" tractor, a Twin City KTA. In 1935, my great-grandfather purchased it brand new as a plowing tractor to replace his horses. Looking for any and all advice I can get on the restoration of this classic! 1. The intake/exhaust manifold has corroded beyond use. My uncle suggested that the manifold from a MM U might fit....will it? and if so, is the U manifold identical to the original found on the KTA? Where can I find one??? 2. Can anyone recommend a good source for parts? 3. The tractor currently has steel wheels on the rear and rubber tires on the front. I have the rims/wheels for rubber rear tires. Did the KTA originally have steel front wheels? Anyone have any photo's of these wheels or a source on purchasing a set of steel front wheels? 3. What are the paint codes for the original colors? 4. Looking for an owner's and service manual, etc. 5. I noticed the fuel tank is divided into two separate tanks, is one for kerosene and the other for gasoline? How does one use/adjust/operate these two different fuels running the tractor? Thank you, Rick S
