UB Special Diesel

We have an old 56 MM UB Special Diesel that seems to be getting fuel to the pump but won't start. We checked all the injectors and lines and they all have fuel. We believe it may be the pump. Does anyone have any ideas? If you think it may be the pump too, do you know where to find one or get one rebuilt? Thanks

Does it smoke when you turn it over because if it does than it is getting fuel. You could also check the compression. If there is little or no compression it will not generate enough heat to ignite the fuel.

Most likely you are right. When these pumps get worn the tractor will not start. You can try to pull start it put the UB in high gear and pull it fairly fast this will turn the motor over faster then the cranking motor. In turn the pump will turn faster and will make more pressure. Any diesel shop should be able to fix it.

I would check injectors before working on pump.
