Trying to identify a M-M tractor

I have a friend in Canada with a Mpls-Moline Tractor. The tag says model A1P #10401781
It has a wide front and looks to me like an industrial tractor. Any info would help. He has some trouble with the transmission but would like to know where to go for help. Thanks, John

Thank you John McLucas for the info on the M-M335.Now another question! What does the lever to the right of the shift lever do? He pulls it back/down and the tractor won't move.

John, it sounds like you are describing the ampli-torque lever that comes out of the right side of the transmission housing. Pushing the lever forward engages the high range which locks up a clutch pack. When the lever is pulled back it allows power to be transmitted through a planetary set. The one-way clutches in the planetary will usually go bad thus causing no motion in low range. I believe the tractor must be split to correct this problem.

Greetings,
The AIP letters in the serial number mean that the tractor is an MM Model 335 (1956-1961). No one knows why MM used AIP for 335, but they did.
