i just purchased a moline an#000604835Z i cannot locate a year, and can anyone help me with the difference in the z models

I cannot find serial # in my listings - However, I do not have the engine listings - that may be the engine # you are looking at.

Look on the right side of the transmission (right is as you sit on tractor) for a plate that is stamped and riveted on. This is about at a place that is even with the clutch lever (straight down), just aft of belt pulley (if it has one) and about 6 - 8 inches in front of rear axel. Sometimes they get covered with grease/grime and you can't see them.

This will have model # and serial #.

E-mail me back with any other numbers you can find - part #'s on the cylinder blocks etc.transmission housing - rim hubs. Is it a Narrow or wide front, single front wheel (if narrow front) etc. I will do my best to help you out.
