Some time back I posted a question asking if anyone had any advice regarding working on the hydraulic valving of the ZAU tractors. Mine would not hold the implement in the riased position. I was wondering if the hydraulics 'box" on the old ZAU was a jack in the box full of springs or what. Bill Becker's reply got me to thinking.... We'd purchased a used bush hog brand rotary mower that already had a cylinder on it. It was an OLIVER electric controls type of cylinder. I NEVER GAVE CYLINDER INCOMPATABILITY A THOUGHT! When it would not hold in the raised position on the Z but would on the JD A, I was ready to do surgery on the Z! Thanks Bill Becker, you saved a Z from a dopey surgeon's hand! The Z will raise and HOLD his own rear wheel off the ground with the MM cylinder. You were right on the money and I thank you.
