Quite a few years back we put a clutch in dads vista, and we had that thing split three or four times before he got it fixed. I think what he finally did, if i remember right, was eliminating a the pipe or line that forces oil up against that seal. It was atleast fifteen plus years ago when he did that, so i don't remember exactly which line it was, seems to me it came into the transmission on the right side, and if you take that fitting out there is a tube that forces oil up to the backside of the flywheel, as i remember he just elimanated the tube, so oil still sprays into the side of the transmission but is not forced up against the flywheel. Probably not the right way to do it, but tractor still works to this day. We had put a clutch in a brown belly G1000 that same year with no trouble, also put one in my vista with no trouble, but i know when we put dads together that time it leaked at a pretty good clip. I will have to look at it tommorow to see which line it was. Someone else maybe has a better answer and solution, just letting you know how dad dealt with it.
