Hay, thank you for all the great feedback i really appreciate it all, I haven't been able to find time to go have a look at the engine but will bring a photo back with me, I'm sure the engine is a diesel

I bought a 403 Lp in Western Neb. on a sale for $130 dollars. It was nice and clean and was not stuck. Hauled it home and a guy wanted it worse than I did for $1000 and he picked it up at my shop. I already had one in a GTB that was reg. gas....JB

Would depend on what G it is? Check serial number on transmission housing by clutch. It could be GT,GTS,GTA,GTB,GTC,GB,GBD.

Tim, It probably is a 403 cubic inch but it could be a 340. The tag on the engine will tell that. Also makes a difference what heads are on it, was it gasoline, LP, or diesel? Where are you located? Thanks, John
