I ran into an old aquantance tonight. I haven"t seen him for maybe 8 or 10 years. He"s in his early 70"s and has parkinson disease and his time is getting short.

He has a MM utility tractor setting in his front yard that needs to go. He says it has a broken crankshaft and doesn"t run. I know it"s sat at least 5 years in one spot. I do not know the model or number on the tractor as it was dark while I was looking at it but it has a front end scoop that is off the tractor but the rest of the mounts are still on it. It is a 6 cylinder gas and it looks like it is about 60 horse power.

If anyone is in central Iowa and is looking for a project let me know and I can point you in the right direction. The best way to get ahold of me is e-mail at [email protected] Thanks for any help. kwg

Hello all
I talked to Bob today and I got a better look at the tractor in the day light and Bob had the original owners and operators manual. The tractor looks like it was repainted at one time and the sheet metal is OK. It's an industrial model and the scoop is currently removed.

According to the owners manual it is a Jetstar #3 ser# is 16309681 mod.# 206L4. The serial number and model number were written in his manual. I did not find a data plate. It's a 4 cylinder gas engine and Bob thinks it's a got a broken crank shaft. Like I said it's been setting in one spot for at least 5 years.

I can't gaurantee pictures as I don't have a digital camera and I've never down loaded pictures before. I have nothing involved in this other than to help Bob out as he now has Parkinson Disease and he really moves slow.

Bob also has a 1937 Allis Chalmers AC in parts in his garage but Bob claims he has all the parts. He also says he has an Allis Chalmers RC stored in a friends barn.

I have no idea what these tractors are worth and if you decide to call Bob all I ask is to be fair with any numbers. If you want to talk to Bob his number is 515 965 3200. Thanks Kris Greenwood

Thanks Kris I may still give him a call. I was hoping it was a six cylinder, but have been looking for a jet 3 super.

I don't have a digital camera. My wife does and I'll try to borrow it from her and get some pictures. I've never down loaded pictures before. I guess I need to learn. Kris

It's in Ankeny at the corner of SW 6th and Walnut sitting in his yard. you can't miss it. I'll stop back by and try to locate some numbers in the day light. The city has been on his case about moving it also. kwg

I come through that area quite a bit and may be interested in looking at it. can you see what model it is and email me. The serail number should be around the clutch housing somewhere. Later tractors are on the left side some early ones are on the right. A six cylinder gas maybe a G900 or something like that. Email me please. Also where is it located exactly, I come to Clarion alot.
