MM Plow Drill Questions

I am looking for information on what I believe to be a somewhat rare MM implement from the 1950s. It is a Moline-Monitor Plow Drill, Model 10-6 P3, about 5 feet wide, designed to attach to a soil packer, with both then attached behind a 3 or 4 bottom plow.

Here are my questions:

1. What years were these drills made?
2. Are they somewhat rare to find?
3. Does anyone have any history of these you would be willing to share, such as what part of the country they were mostly used in, in what kind of crop ground, under what conditions, etc.?

Any information you could share would be very much apprecitated. Thank you.

I wouldn't call them rare, but there are definetly not that many around.

A 10-6 should be 10 runs spaced 6" apart. Goes behing a 4-14 plow. These were most likely made in the 40's and 50's as that is when we used them a lot in ND where I came from. Stubble was worked in the fall with residue left in place to prevent drifting and then the ground was pony drilled in the spring. We quit using them in the early 60's. Don't see them very much any more.
