Was trying to figure if there was a rubber pad or something on this back platform ? Seems like there are a lot of bolt holes that are here for something.Just trying to get it right.Any thoughts? Thanks

The early RT's had multiple bolt holes around the outer edges for cab mount. It would depend which year the RTU is.

It is a 42. I thought maybe there was something on there so it wasnt so slick. So this would have been the platform for a cab?Did these have a MM badge on the grill? Thanks

If a 42 I think you would have the three piece platform. The 1939 Rcab had 1 piece. All had the medallion.

Dan Shima (in Eldridge Iowa I think) has them. I do not have his telephone number.
