Would like to put a higher compression head on an early Z. Don't have a parts book yet! Anyone have a head # for a gas engine that came on the later z's? Older engine is the 186. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mike

The RE226C is the highest compression "RE" head casting #. The 2 LP head casting #s start with 10A #s, they have 2 freeze plugs and the RE heads have only 1. I have a complete set of ratios in a list somewhere, I'll try to find it if you want. might try the MM site and look for head specifications there.
