Found an 800 power unit I want to put in a Tractor. Not sure if it is an HD or not. Has side water manifold that lands twice on each block with 3 bolts. Blocks are 10A4162B, Heads are 10A4212, Crankcase is 10A3500. Has a mag and is set up to run on Natural gas. Also has a V-belt pulley where the starter should be. Origional owner used it to grind at a feed mill and said he had an electric motor to start it. It is loose and been stored inside. What would it take to put this in a tractor and what exactly is it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am doing allmost the same thing, make sure you dont have the small bell engine. you can put it in a g/gb/g6. but if using a g or gb you will need a gbd flywheel. done right you would need to convert it to lp but you will need a new carb and reg about 200 bucks. ideal weight would be 6000 to 8000lbs the engine should get you about 245hp at 800 cid but if you speend a little money you can get up to 1100cid and over 700hp if you know all the tricks..
