Hi just bought my first moline M5 dsl it was running but had both heads cracked. Now i am replacing both heads and boring .020 over. I got my pistons on friday and need to know what piston to cyl clearance should be for the bore job. I was also wondering if it would be best to leave the cyl base gaskets out and just use a sealent for boosted compression? any other info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I don't think you better leave the gaskets out. MM machining tolerances where not the best they could have been and it will most likely leak around the blocks. Besides you have already over bored it and I don't think you are going to gain anything by leaving them out.

I agree. Im sure it would leak oil in that area, unless you used permatex or a similiar sealer, of course that is like cementing them on.
