Capt,
How far do you have it apart? I did a complete overhaul on one in a UBED last year. I should be able to help you out with whatever advice you need. Shoot me an email.

Brian

Its been 10 years or more since I changed the disk in Granddaddy's ZB. If someone on here can scan and send you a parts book illustration that would be great because it would be quicker. There was also a section drawing of it in the I&T manual.

From what I recall: Be sure to replace the seal (Or is it 2 seals?) between the inner and outer shafts. That is where it was leaking on the clutch disk on this one.

Hopefully no one took the pressure plate assembly apart like I did. It was a real chore to put the springs and their domed caps back between the 2 end plates of the assembly. On the other hand that I probably took it apart because of all the transmission fluid on it.

If no one can e-mail you a parts illustration, e-mail me. I can copy and mail them to you.
