Moline G706 Fwd at auction in PA

Their was a all original G706 Moline fwd at McGrews auction in Pa. It had very nice sheet metal, but it needed motor work. It sold for 17,000.00. I thought it was high for what it was. Just was wondering if anyone had any thoughts.

The sale price was 16,000. But still way over priced!!!! The guy came all the way from arkansas. Man I couldn't believe it. The other one, I think didn't sell, the start on it was 3000 and that's what it closed at.I was going to stay for the Vista, but after the first 706 I gave up and went home. Got home to find that it only brought 4100. Glenn

I thought it was in pretty fair shape, they had just put a cam in it and had the oil pressure turned up to 80lbs @ idle. Won't last long that way.But if that was turned down to about 30 it should have been ok I guess. I'll try to post link to picture
