Oliver fan, I finally got the tractor here. Took cover off that has the 2 levers. Moved 1 arm that was keeping control lever from moving. Now it moves freely but still hitch will only move up. Iam able to lower hitch by killing engine and moving remote levers back and forth unloadin pressure. The set screw on rear seems to have no effect either. what now? thanks.

On my JS3 with teleflo, I took it to "Hawk's Garage" in Leitersford?, IN. North western part. He and his dad were an MM dealer and know there tractors. I had books on repairs, layouts and such, but still seemed out of my league. I've sold the books now, but shop is still open. I can find phone number if this is close enough for you.

What models all used that? I remember they gave us a book one time in service school on adjusting Moline 3 point hitches. I probaly still have the book. J.

I believe that 3 point was used on everything from the 335 to the M670, possibly larger tractors also.

MMDEL that comes on here from time to time may be able to help you. He knows alot about MMs. I had a 5 Star that the hyd cyl wouldnt work. The valves were not synchronized. I didnt want to take it all apart so I took a little ignition wrench and went in the top cover and adjusted one lever so it could be used. ( I did tie a small wire on the wrench just in case so I didnt lose it in there.

I had to re-read my post to remember our conversation.

I still think your trouble is with that linkage behind the plunger, that is adjusted by that set screw. If you can't get the unit to work right when you adjust that screw so the plunger is out of the housing at least 1" to 1 1/2", there must be problems inside the unit.

I have had those units apart, but it has been years ago. Maybe you can find an old MM mechanic near you. Or maybe someone on this forum has a better idea as to a fix of your unit.

Is this the same deal as a Jet Star 2 with the 2 levers under the seat I know that one of them if you move it all the way the one way the 3pt wont go down and the other way it drops like a rock
