Can anyone tell me the value of a Minnie Mo model 3490 that is in decent condition but hasn"t been started in years. What I mean by condition is it is all there, all straight, all gauges, and no rust through. It had been shedded all of its life by the look of it.

We live in Southern Indiana about 1 hour from Louisville, KY. As soon as I can I'll get some pictures posted whether I end up with it or not didn't have time to get back out there today and discuss funds exchange.

We will be awaiting pictures.Join us over on the combine forum.

I called our local junk yard and they are only paying $80 a ton for complete combines and they dock you alot for the tires.A 3490 will weigh close to 9000 lbs.

I have every intention of trying to keep it and restore it not for use but to save something from the danged scrappers. I was thinking around scrap price but did not want to offend the gentleman and have him send it to the scrapper anyway. Hoping to head back over this afternoon and see if we can make a deal. My family and I have over 13 moline tractors but there aren't many of the combines left around these parts, thought it would be nice to have one around.

Now days Its worth at least what the scrap buyers will pay for it so we are talking at least $4-500.

In April 2006 I watched a running 3490 MM sell for $25 on an estate sale at Reading,KS..I'm sure if I had bid it would have sold higher.A 410 Massey brought $170.Scrap prices were down some then.

Try and save it if you can.
