I said it in the other forum but I will say it here also, I was also told to be very cautious when it came to this guy. Things are not as they are said to be. I am planning to go be just to see what tractors are going for.

Went to their sale last spring. Pretty dissapointing, very misrepresented, projests to say the least!! Listed tractors as loose that were stuck and tractors as running that did not. Also plants bidders in crowd (my own observation anyway). Look things over good, beware.

The auctioner sent me a picture of the 1350. It looks fair some rust comming through the white on the hood and grill. Its not a bubble nose. Appears straight.

third party image

I scanned the sale bill from the paper, hope you are able to read it, if not these are some of the MM's they have listed: G,GB,U,UB,R,ZA,G-6,5 star,445,302,602,670,705,707,vista, 1350. Some listed as running, others as stuck. Don't know if i will make it, if you do i would like to know what some of the late model ones brought, thanks and take care.

The sale bill was in this weeks Farm Forum or "green sheets" as we call it. It was on page 109F, phone number of auction service is 605-784-3233 if you have questions. I will try to scan it and post, but writing is small.

Saw it in the Farm Collector magazine. Also in the shopper papers here in western and central MN. Interesting auction and auctioneer. one battery to start 150 tractors. Takes forever.

We drove over to the auction site yesterday and walked the lot. I would be very surprised if they started any of them. We were interested in a couple of them that looked like good usable tractors, so I wanted to check oil and anti-freeze. One radiator was slushed up,the other frozen solid. Some nice project tractors incuding many molines. Our temps the last few days have been -35F at night and -10f high for the day. Dress warm for the auction. Joe

How was the G1350 Diesel. Is it in pretty good shape? Did you take any pictures?

The 1350 was one of the best looking tractors they had. Looked to be complete and pretty straight. Diesel engine, internal oil pump, 5 spd w/2spd amplitorque. Dual pto. Might be missing a piece of cab glass. They also had a G1000 Vista which looked pretty good, that is, better than most everything else out there. Most of the tractors appear to have been pulled in after decades sitting in fencerows and woodlots.
