What did MM build the HD800 Engine for? Did it go into any tractors stock from the factory?

Answer to question #2 is Yes. There for a short time period you could order the A4T-1600 with the 800 cubic inch engine.

They where mostly used as power units. Some got into tractors as repower kits .They had two types of bellhouseings sizes, large in the power units and small used in G1000 and some 4 wheel drive wheel tractors. The tractor plullers use the large one in the G series tractors like the gb and GVI.
