I saw this listed for sale locally and I thought I would show it to others that collect MM as it appeared unique. If anyone is interested, I will find out more detials. Supposedly runs but needs tlc (not sure what that entails). Was an old NYC Municipal machine. Still located in upstate NY.

Here are two pictures:

My neighbor has one of these he is working on. It even has a city of New York tag of some kind on it.

I think it's legit, there have been pictures of similar machines on all MM sites for the past 6-7 years.

Isnt this a big mo 500? I remember seeing an old add for the state of NY having a bunch of these tractors for plowing snow.

I saw 4 of these back in around 1975 at a Dodge
dealer in Attleboro, MA. I tried to get my Dad
and Uncle to buy one so I could plow in the winter. Dealer wanted too much so no sale. I saw
another in Worcester, MA about 10 years ago but
not for sale. On the Talers board, Les from New
Hampshire posted that there was one for sale in
his area. As Andrew states, I believe it is a
4-Star industrail. I don't known if MM built them
or just supplied the tractor to an outfitter. I
still would like to find one close to home to play
with. They had a large counter weight/rearstep
that would make it very heavy to haul with that
big power angle setup.

What do you think folks. Looks like a 4-star, or 5-star.

Was the cab in this picture manufactured by MM or a after market manufacturer?
