ZA hood studs

I'm wondering what the original studs look like on a ZA hood. On the rear I've got a stud with a blade on the left side and a square bolt with a sheet metal bracket on the right. The front corners have the stud with blade. I'm assuming since 3 out of the 4 are the stud that they are original? One of the studs is rusted badly and one is bent. Where can I get new ones?

I've got a spot welder that I think we can use to weld the stud on. MacCarr may be a good source for the stud.

These are specialty items I would think NOT commercially available. 3/8-16 threaded, about 2 1/2" long, flattened on one end for an inch or more & offset from center to align with edge of threads. As mentioned, they should be spotwelded on. Maybe an M-M parts supplier has some? RW

Yes they all 4 are studs. You could probably make them your self but attaching them may be a challenge. If you can find a body shop with a spot welder that might work better than brazing or welding them on.

You can probably get them from McMaster-Carr or Fastenal. All you need for there website is add a .com to their name...deadeye
