What is the highest compression Ratio I good run on Propane with or without a turbo? 18? 16? no Turbo. Maybe 14 with Turbo? What do you guys think????

About 7.5 to 8 w/turbo and 13 without is very temper-mental.

WHY do you want to run that high of compression? All the problems you will have at 14 or 16 to 1 will never be worth the very few horsepower you will gain. A MM diesel only had 15 to 1 compression.

I am going to make a gooooo d screamer. Thinking about water injection too. The Air Resorce Board here in califorina will fine us for running those somkers on diesel here in California. We are also considering changing over 10 trucks with
350 Cummins to propane with the Natural Gas ignition set-ups. The trucks currently have 14.5 to 1 ratio. So!!!!! !! Please give me a few gooooo d thoughts. Whats the highest ratio on propane anyone has played around with?????

12:1 without a turbo is about the best. Minus 1 for ever 15 lbs of boost.
