MM G Red Wheel Paint Code Needed

I have a 1949 4 cyl. G to paint for a customer, I have the silver and the prairie gold colors. What is the number or formula for the red used on the wheels? ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks Jeff @ Gravert Restoration 308-946-2146 day shop phone

Jeff, the correct color in PPG acrylic enamel is DAR 72083 H. It is a fleet color that Roger Mohr had matched to the MM red many moons ago. I have several NOS red parts and this color is as close as you will come to correct. Hope this helps.

I have two PPG color codes that are called "Minneapolis Moline Red". Thay are 71528 and 70385. I'm not sure which one is correct for a G.

What paint code did you select for the Prairie Gold?
