Howard H. will that turbo kit work on a straight 800 (not HD)? Any idea where there might be a turbo for an 800 at?

I don't know why it wouldn't work on a regular 800. I was surprised to see on this diagram it showing dry exhaust manifolds.

Those three piece manifolds tend to be fairly leaky, anyway, but I guess if all the pieces were in good shape and you had new bands and seals on the joints, it must work pretty good.

Mine were water-cooled exhausts, which are sealed the whole way.

Not sure on where to find a turbo - I would guess any model with the proper compression boost would work OK. But I just ran them - I'm not really a true mechanic.

This is how I rigged a U puller once (sucking air through the carb), but the post below showing a 800 turbo picture, shows it pushing air through the carb??? I didn't know that would work. Is it because it is LP? Mine was gasoline. JG

The HD 800 lps pulled through the 200D base and the throttle body was mounted on the intake. I looked at one burning methane(hog waste gas), It had 27 heads and only made 2 lbs of boost and was running a generator. I believe it was a 80kw.
