This may be a stupid question but how do you tilt the steering column on a G1000 Vista? With the dash removed I understand how it should work but I don't see a lever or pedal or anything like that which should be used to engage or disengage the locking mechanism. Maybe we are missing a part or something on our tractor.

The release for the tilt should be a lever on the left side of the steering column just under the steering wheel hub, it may have broken off, check to see, it should have had a black knob on the end of about a 5" crome rod about 3/8" or 1/2" in size. They tend to freeze up if not oiled up or used often, especially sitting outside. It will take some work to free it up also if it is frozen.
