I live in LA calif and my grandpa had a MM dozer that he sold to someone in Indiana, an older really nice gentleman and we went there and the dude had like 100's of tractors. Grandpa died and I would like to find his dozer and visit that guy who has it. Does anybody know who or where that might be ?

My dad bought the 2-star dozer on the Schrock Acution. It is currently in Fulda, Minnesota. It runs good, but needs some work. If you would like to see it or talk more about it just give me a call (507)360-6748. Mike

I would say Shrocky will be on in the next few day I can see the guys face and should know is name that done the bidding but can not come up wiht it now.

Dear Newbie, I would agree with FB here it sounds like Mel Schrock,heck of a guy was he, I think Doug Cotton can post on here where your dozer went if this looks like the one, however I know when Schrocks got it it was in pieces and they actually got it together and running for the auction

dozermon: The dozer in my pic, which is likely the dozer in question, is a 2 Star. It sold for $18 000 at the auction. If I remember correctly it was running but needed work. See my post below, if you are looking for a 2 Star, expect to pay between $10 000 and $25 000, as MM made only 51 2 Star crawlers. The only year for production was 1958. However, MM also had Motrac crawlers, of which they made 199. Of these, 38 were gas and 161 diesel. Motracs were made in 1960 and 1961. I am not sure what a Motrac would go for.

My guess it would be Mel Schrock who your grandpa sold the dozer to and who had 100s of tractors. All of those tractors, along with the dozer, were sold off in a massive auction back in June, after the passing away of Mr. Schrock. The guy you want to talk to on here goes by the name of schrocky, he is the son of Mel Schrock. If you are looking to buy the dozer back or a dozer of the same model, expect to pay somewhere in the $10 000 to $25 000 range. You would be lucky to find one for less than that, as only 51 were made. The picture above is one of the dozer that I took at the auction back in June:

That is IT ! i can tell by the grill and muffler contraption.it left Ca. in pieces how neat that it is running, what happened that Mr Schrock sold out ? my granps said they would never get it going again , does somebody know where it is now ? I just want to go see it I cannot afford anything like that and have no room for it.
