Here's a pic of a MM cotton stripper my Grandpa and uncles used to use. My uncle said they had it on a G JD and had to make some small adapter for it to fit correctly.

What size MM tractor would this have been designed for?? I've got a UTS and a UB I may mount it on, if either of those would be the "correct" tractor.

The elevator on your pics looks like the ZO. There was a later made S26 stripper. The S26 cotton stripper was made in early 1960s to fit MM tractors M5, M602 , 4 Star, 5 Star, 445, UB and IHC M tractors. Some updates and changes were made on the 1962 & 63 machines.

MM ZO cotton harvestor fit MM tractors UBU, UTU, ZBU, ZAU, UB, UT, ZA, ZB, 445U, 5 STAR, and IHC M tractor or could be adapted to others as well. It gets confusing in several manuals and supplement updates and changes to the ZO and adapters were made by MM to fit other tractors as well. Didn't see anything about MM supplying adapters for JD though. Supplement B said the ZO could also fit MM M5, MM4 Star Super, MM 5 Star, IHC H, IHC M on harvestors in 1960 and after. Updates and attachments later were a clod eliminator on the special, green boll separator, and green boll basket.

Yes, this is an early ZO, I owned a 1961 model and it had the blower mointed below the elevator and also had a green boll catcher. These were built for a UTU or UB. They were one of the best strippers around if the cotton wasn't over knee high.

Kinda looks like a ZO stripper, I've seen them on a M5, I think the UB would be a good choice.
