I'm mostly an 'orange' guy, so I need help with a Minneapolis Moline mower. It accompanied an AC B received from my wife's side of the family. It has "Minneapolis Moline LE-1" on a cast iron part. I would appreciate a pointer to any information about this item, particularly anything that would help me get it restored. So far, my research has come up empty. (The AC B is a 1950, but I don't know if the MM Mower pre-dates it or not.) Thanks.

Guys, I've found some literature on the LE mower, I'll try to copy and email it, may have to use USPS tho. Be a couple of days before I can try. Email is open. John

Minneapolis-Moline LE-1 is cast in the main body of an early pull behind sickle mower that could have been horse or tractor pulled. Does it have an operator's seat and a hand lever for lifting the mower?

Yes, it has a seat and hand lift lever, but it appears to have a hitch that could be adapted to tractor or horse.

I have the same mower as what you posted in the implement photos section. I bought mine at an auction this summer. Unfortunately, I haven't run across any literature or info yet either.

Is there anychance you can post a picture? I am aware of the UM series, the J-series and the MO series MM mowers but no LE series.
