Z seat color and bladder

I have a delux seat that still has the rubber air bladder beneath the seat pad and the seat appears to have been covered in a red plastic of some kind. I believe the air bladder was original equipment and it appears to have only one rip in it. Were those seats covered in red vinal originally and does anyone make new bladders?

Thank you for the information. There was no second pad below the bladder and the bladder has a rip on the seam so I don't know if we can seal it but will give it a try. And so, black it is, I guess--I like the idea of a red seat to match the wheels but if it was black originally it'll have to be black. The picture on my owners manual has a seat that looks lighter than black which has led me to think it was red, but.... I use the tractor to pick stones but still want it looking as nice as it runs. Thanks again for the help.

Yes they were original equipment. I remember my dad talking about them, how it usually got poked full of holes from the horse or mohair pads in it and went flat. I believe they had about 1/2" to 3/4" pad on the bottom and one on top with the bladder in the middle. There was a zipper on the side to gain access to airing it up. To my knowledge they were generally black vinyl. It may have been recovered with red at one time or another. Dont know of anyone making new ones. Is yours patchable? I always thought they were kind of neat.
