The original subject was "jet star 3 restoration".

Matt,
Did you find any info about locating engine parts for your Jet Star 3 diesel?
I am trying to rebuild my diesel and am having trouble locating four pistons .040.
I've posted on here 3 or 4 times then started reading the archived posts and found your comments.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks, Sheldon

If you can't find .040 pistons, you can always bore it out and install a new sleeve to bring it back to standard size. Any competent engine shop can do this. You might even be able to use whatever pistons you have now.

Danny Burch of Danny's repair in Northern Missouri Has new 206D pistons I believe. I don't have his number, but somebody on here might.

Thanks, David,
I spoke to him just before Thanksgiving and he was to call me back...haven't heard from him yet...seems he is very busy.
I will try to get hold of him again
Thanks again,
Sheldon
