Does anyone know what the restored Massey 97 brought at the Aumann auction last weekend? They haven't posted auction results for that auction yet.

Thanks

You gan get on the Proxybid website for all the results, but no pictures. I talked to Aumann yesterday- they said they will post results soon.

Schrocky:

It must have been really nice to bring that much! I have a friend who is looking for one. In fact, I bid on the one at your auction in June but wasn't the last bidder. Would $10,000 have made that one as nice as the $14,000 one?

Gary

probably a toss up...a lot of people who are not familiar with the proper way to get power out of those old girls thought this one was just painted fancy and ran poor, but it was an all the way restoration and I'll bet that old girl has some B---s.I think you would have had to decide if you enjoy working on them or not.I know where ours is and it could be bought for 6500, it does need a radiator. We told that at the auction and they are trying to hide it now.
