I have come across a Massey 97 diesel 4wd that the engine is stuck. The rest is very straight with 80% original paint. It is in a scrap yard headed for overseas! Should I save it?? Whats is it worth? Thanks Floyd

Worked on these at MM -lake street plant and I think they only made about 125 or less--were on the same line as 706"s and 705"s several differences OTHER than the rounded radiator top and bottom--different seat and color, hydrolic hookups, hitch, etc.

Should you save it? Surely you jest these are few and far between let alone send one on the boat. Running $5000 up, excellent restoration $10000 or more. They sell better than the MM 706. Will have to find out what the nice 97 at Aumann Taylorville auction sold for today. As it sits triple scrap would be cheap. Buy it and ebay it if you do not want it or tell us here.
