WHat is one worth that is sitting outside for about 10-20 years, tree grown up around it, locked up tires still up and looks like a decent machine (like it would have been running good when parked) I am sure that stuff is froze up but, it has 2 grain units, picker and sheller. I would be interested in it for parts for my uni. FUnny thing is I traveled about 500 miles to get mine and this one is 1 mile down the road. It is at an auction where they did not pull it out and you have to get it out and home!

What do you think???

WHat do they way with a unit on?? It is atleast worth junk price.

The Brown mule was only made for three years and the last one it was New Idea (even though they were brown) made by MM. I bought one wtih the picker/sheller (model 250 picker head with the model E sheller attached) for $200. Had bouth another Mule for $500--do any of the units havve the carraige with them? If you have the two wheel transport, you can put either unit on and with a flywheel assembly make them pull types. Just takes three pins. Good luck--the brown ones are LOTS better thatn the yellow as far as power goes--the yellow were UNDER Powered. Make sure if you use them to have the "shorter" belt on the drive pulled--the original (brown mules--first ones ) had a belt just slightly longer and also check the RPM at the Flywheel pulley (variable speed with the grease jerek sticking out) as I recall we set them to 1650 RPM at the factory (should look in the manual) for the best work. Hope this helps you some. A very good picking unit and sheller (the first "radial" combine). I do have some of the parts for the push type greasing system (with the plastic tubes).
