What are the head #s for a 445lp, also gas #s. Does a good running 445 lp compete with super H's and in what class?

According to my Repair Catalog the numbers are, <4000' 10R900 bare amd 11A5856 complete: >4000' 10R825 and 11A5853 complete. I don't know how these match up with casting numbers but I should be able to see the numbers on my 445N-LP and get back to you. HTH Bryce

Thank you. What is a 445N LP. We have a 445 lp row crop. Do you know if these pull better than Super h or do good in 4000lbs class? Need more info on heads.

445 over a super H. hard to beat in any class 4000-5000. Being able to split the gears is the secret.

What do you mean split gears, use the torque? What kind of hp on a 445 lp? What size tire to use?

Well my back has been bothering me (DDD) so I just got out to look at the N and the heads have casting # last four "5852" on them. It is between the two sparkplugs. MM built Universal tractors with four different front ends, S, E, U, and N. A "S" is a wide front non-adjustable, an "E" is a wide front adjustable, an "U" is the two wheel tricycle, and a "N" is a single front wheel. Mine are an E and a N both LP Gas and both projects: the N has been setting over 20 years but with the help of "Kroil" I have gotten it moving a little, need to change the oil and get a starter on it and see if it will spin.
I reread your first post and according to my catalog the p/n s for gas heads are <4000' bare 10R826 and complete 11A5851, >4000' 10R808 bare and complete 11A5854. The description line for the 11A5856 LP<4000' has (11A5852) in the desc. line and this is the same as the casting I read "5852", none of the others have a number like this in the desc. line. HTH
